AcuMed Clinic uses the Lasonic — a dual-modality device integrating 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound with dual-wavelength laser therapy (810 nm infrared + 610 nm red light). This combination delivers deep, targeted tissue healing, pain reduction, and inflammation control in a single non-invasive treatment.
Therapeutic Ultrasound
The Lasonic's 1 MHz ultrasound delivers acoustic energy deep into muscle, tendon, and joint tissue. This energy creates a gentle micro-massage effect at the cellular level — increasing local circulation, breaking down scar tissue adhesions, accelerating protein synthesis, and reducing edema.
Therapeutic ultrasound reaches tissue depths that surface treatments cannot, making it particularly effective for deep muscle injuries, joint conditions, and tendon pathology.
Dual-Wavelength Laser Therapy
The 810 nm infrared laser penetrates deep into tissue to boost cellular metabolism, enhance ATP production, and regulate inflammation. The 610 nm red light targets more superficial tissue layers, accelerating cellular repair and modulating the inflammatory cascade.
Together, these wavelengths address multiple tissue depths simultaneously — from the skin surface to deep muscle and joint structures. Photobiomodulation at this level produces measurable improvements in pain, function, and healing time.
