Community vs. Private Care

Two ways to receive care at AcuMed Clinic — each designed for a different need, condition, and situation. Here is how to choose.

AcuMed Clinic offers two distinct care settings — community acupuncture and private clinical appointments. Both are effective. Both are delivered with the same clinical standard. The difference is in format, time, and who each option is best suited for.

Many patients use both — starting with community sessions to establish a care rhythm, then graduating to private appointments for more complex conditions. Others maintain private appointments for their primary treatment and use community sessions for ongoing maintenance. There is no wrong answer. The right choice depends on your condition, your schedule, and your goals.
