Dr. Kitt is a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician committed to providing care with exceptional expertise and true compassion. She graduated from the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics & Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Foreign Language, Spanish. She spent 20 years in Research & Development in the Aerospace/ Defense industry before deciding to enter the world of natural medicine.
She received both her Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Health Sciences and her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine. She achieved her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University in California specializing in Pain Management and Emotional Wellness.
As a long time resident of Sarasota, Dr. Kitt attended McIntosh Middle School, Sarasota High School, and graduated from Riverview High School. She has deep roots within the community. This is why she chose to open her practice AcuMed Wellness & Acupuncture in Sarasota where she continues to practice today.
Her concentration of practice is in Pain Management, Facial Rejuvenation, Digestive Issues, Emotional Wellness, and Women’s Health.
